Dubai: Juventus coach Antonio Conte was surprisingly selected as Coach of the Year in 2013 by the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards. Former Siena coach that beat architect Rafael Benitez Napoli and Borussia Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp. Conte was chosen because of the cold hand carry Juventus retain the Scudetto last season as well as the success of Juventus Serie A standings up to Christmas and New Year's holidays.

"This honor makes me proud. I thank all the players for help me to win this award. If I won this trophy then praise must be shared with my foster son, without a doubt," Conte said as reported by the Italian Football.

Although recently received an award from the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards, Conte tried modestly and does not intend to target the FIFA World Coach of the titles in the near future.

"Do I get the Best Coach award FIFA? There is a long road that must be passed, because you need to win the international trophy for example, as did Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola," said Conte.
